[Sep 1245] Grand Pooh Bah Rama Heslop left his old liege King Santa Stepanov of Christmas Moon and joined with Queen Peachy Sassoon of the Queendom of Godiva.

September 1172, 8.25 AM PST.... the long awaited Christmas Trader arrived.

A FREE trader made many happy.

It was a day earlier then suspected... Trader! (Sat. Dec. 12, 2009 - 10.28AM SLT)
Reports on the TE Wiki tell about three Kingdoms with a simultaneous visit.
I got "For 1 year your land will be worth more than usual"... But at the end I found in 4 turns 2 gold bars on acres, a grand total of 8 beside many gold.
This is for me a memorable Trader.

When certain holidays come around
I have often noticed it is true
It’s all about the chocolate
It is for me, now, how about you?

First on the holiday list is, of course
Valentine’s Day at the top of the year
Boxes of chocolate candies

Or chocolate roses sweet and clear

Easter is right around the corner then
Chocolate eggs and bunnies so sweet
Fancy paper wrapped around chocolate
Is such a wonderful treat

Of course, at Christmas there are Santa’s
In every shape and size
Finding them in the Christmas stocking
Is always a wonderful surprise

There is chocolate on a stick as well
They are so creamy and so yummy
Chocolate fountains with special treats
Are just perfect for my tummy

It really doesn’t matter at all, however
You can just be sad or stuck in a rut
Go visit the candy counters ‘cause
It is all about the chocolate!

Just something beside Tiny Empires and Godiva... Are you a bit tired from the regular Second Life software? Then try Greenlife Emerald viewer!
It installs in a separate folder, so you can try it beside the regular one.
I haven't used my regular Linden Labs viewer since the moment I installed Emerald.

During a nice party themed 'Crusades' the Emperor decided to have a Festival. It was a good reason to join at that party. Congrats to MzRene and Jessica who won their joust... And tx to our Beloved Queen for a free acre just after the festival.
Godiva is alive and kicking :)

The Emperor has been busy introducing new riddles into Tiny Empires. They are about Goose eggs and Goose, Goose and a Goat, Walking a Block and rolling a die.

It takes in some cases some quick thinking to solve them.

Just recovering from winning a joust at the Festival I may announce you that our beloved Queen Peachy has asked me to help maintain this blog. And so I will.

Yes, I know I have been gone awhile from SL. Thank you for your concerns but I am doing ok. My computer that I was able to access every day is now a laptop that runs VISTA and apparently hates SL grrrrr.... It's also not so easy to obtain as often. Also the guest room/extra bedroom I was in has been taken over by "Me Royal Mother In Law" (MRMIL) who I'm positive hails from my fave Queendom to hate y'all know the one.......starts with a P and has 8 letters ending with M heh

MRMIL has suddenly become a huge part of my RL as I am responsible now for taking care of her each day. Lots of things have changed the last few months for me but I am still here and will come to SL as often as I can. My best SL friend Scotti Rhode and of course Kincent Lobo both know how to contact me. As always you can reach me via email imeldawhitfield@gmail.com should you need me. I'm popping into SL to get info as often as I can and keep the blog updated I promise! I miss all of you so keep the choki vault stocked! Until I see you again....

A wandering seer has shown an interest in buying some land to set up her shop. Will you seel her an acre for ________________ gold?

Before you sign over the acre to the wandering seer, you happen to mention your recent strange dreams. As you describe them, she begins to wander the parcel, searching for something. Finallly, she points to an unusual stone. The stone is hot to the touch, and the plants nearby are scorched. The stone's outer shell crumbles to reveal a metallic liquid sphere inside. A nearby university donates land to set up a research station. You gain 3 acres.

--- Fed HUD ---

The easiest way to earn massive amounts of gold is with the Fed HUD. BUT... you must be vigilant & you must have at least 1 subject. The Disease/Disaster/Crime/Famines are your friend if you'll let them be. Don't pay the highest amount unless your doing a research.

On your Accounting tab it says Population xxx % of capacity. You want that # as close to 5000% as possible. What this means is every 2 years (January of even years) you'll earn MASSIVE amounts of gold in the census. If you go over 5000% you will hit cap and in September of an even year your citz will die back to 5000%, so form an alliance and pass them along!

This percentage goes up everytime you pay the maximum for a Disease/Disaster/Crime/Famine as you earn more citizens (population) when you do so (by about 75-100% each time). If you have an ally with more land than you, you can also ask them to send some citizens to you when they are capped or close to capped out, or vice versa.

90% of population equals the regular HUD rate of gold earning. If you're there great, but you can increase your gold earning and thus your land buying ability and trader payment ability by following the steps above.

So a trick to get a jump start on this process is to ally with someone in your upline. And have them send you some citizens. Once you're at 3000-4000% it grows a lot quicker.

What is the benefit of the embassies?

They let you pass a larger amount of citizens and fewer get angy in the xfer, they give you increased opportunities for high land sells, and if ya get 4 of 'em they give you a +1g/acre. A very *un*-useful (IMO) option is they also give you a chance to spy on your ally.

Citz above 5000% die in September
Census occurs in January of even years
A subject can be at most 5 levels below you
Trader is only for Barons and above

Here is proof that he travels worldwide! Italy.......man I DO hate I missed this one! I have been wanting to go to Italy my entire LIFE! *sigh* Figures he would come while I was away. Although I have heard the best way to make the Trader visit is to take a nap........hmmmmmm that does sound like a good idea right about now *yawn*
